Job Title: Marketing and Business Development Support Manager

 

Contract: 12 months maternity cover 

Salary: Competitive 

Location: Beijing, China 

 

What it’s about 

Cambridge International is looking to appoint a dynamic and results-oriented individual as our regional Marketing and Business Development Support Manager. The role supports our East Asia team through the effective use of marketing communications to build and maintain awareness of our brand, attract new schools and nurture relationships with our existing schools. 

 

What you’ll be doing 

You will be responsible for an annual programme of marketing events and campaigns, targeted at school decision makers and for managing and developing relationships with key media across East Asia. Another critical part of the role is to develop and implement a digital communications strategy, using both social media and our Chinese language website to engage with our schools and wider stakeholder groups. 

 

In addition, this role will be responsible for working with the regional business development team ensure our existing customers are well supported and we are providing world-class service to our schools. There will be periodic contact with customers and stakeholders as needed. 

You will be supported by our Marketing Communications team and Business Development teams in Cambridge, UK, while reporting to our Senior Manager, East Asia and working closely with the wider East Asia team. 

 

What we’re looking for 

This is a challenging and stimulating role that requires a proven track record in digital marketing, campaign management, media relations and events management. You will be educated to degree level and/or possess a relevant marketing, or communications qualification. Experience of working with the media would be an added advantage. You will have an eye for detail, excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as being an effective team player with the ability to work under pressure and deliver on target. Excellent written and spoken language skills in both English and Chinese are also required.
